At the time of writing, the only way to rectify this issue is by using a third-party extension that will skip the redirect URL and would instead take you to the actual location. That’s it. This should fix the Redirect Notice issue when clicking on an image in the Google Image search results. As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are aware of this issue, but they haven’t given out any ETA for the rollout of a fix.
